300/500W Miniature Ripple / Water Effect TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION
The HELL range of miniature ripples has been designed for short to medium throws. They are compact and lightweight units, making them ideal for use where space is limited in both theatrical and architectural applications, with both hanging and floor mounting options. The units use a combination of a rotating slotted drum and a glass slide to create the light ripple and have an integral fan for cooling.
Originally designed to take a 300W or 500W K9/K1 tungsten lamp, the range has been extended to include 150W MH, and 400W MH versions. The discharge lamps have a separate control unit and have the advantage of longer lamp life, higher light output and cooler running temperatures.
The Metal halide versions have separate control gear boxes, although the 150 watt MH is currently being re-designed with integral gear.
